Medea Carloforte Workshop 2024


WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
MEDEA (Mediterranean Ecological Adaptation) strategies for urban and landscape regeneration, is a major research project by Sapienza University of Rome spanning from 2023 to 2026, focusing on adaptation strategies for Mediterranean habitats.
There will be pavilion design and construction around 100 sqm by the sea which aimed to be serving as an ecological device experimenting with nature-based solutions and developing environmental, informational and digital networking performances in relation to prevalent climate change risks, starting with kick-off workshop reviving former Tuna Factory in CarloForte Island, Sardegna Italy .
It will be supported by lecture series to envision effects of Global Warming on the earth and solutions.
It is open call for multi disciplinary study students : Sociology, architecture, biology, media& communication, anthropology
